Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

Organisation: Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport, and Culture (DG EAC)
Services: Content Strategy · Creative Concept · Bid-Writing Support

In need of a communication plan to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions — the EU’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training — the Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport, and Culture (DG EAC) issued a request for services for a year-long online promotional campaign.

To help a leading strategic communication firm win the contract for the project, Lanceis — working within a one-month timeframe — devised a content strategy for social media posting throughout the campaign as well as the official campaign website, proposed a creative concept in the form of a slogan, and oversaw, with the bid manager, the preparation of the technical offer. The latter task entailed working closely with individuals throughout the firm to develop certain sections of the offer with them (e.g. those pertaining to the campaign’s content strategy) and ensure their contributions to the offer met the strict criteria laid out in the client’s terms of reference before editing the written offer for consistency, clarity, completeness, style, and grammar, as well as to keep it within the page limit specified by the client.

Ultimately, the firm was awarded the contract.
